Tucked in the heart of Old Town, The Vig Chicago is more than a sports parlor: it’s a bold tribute to mid century rebellion, vintage glamour, to bring back the art of conversation. The Vig’s aesthetic combines 1950s charm with refined finishes, bringing to life a cinematic space where guests can sip classic cocktails beneath a canopy of architectural storytelling.
When it came to lighting, The Vig’s team envisioned something distinctive - an installation that felt nostalgic yet elevated, timeless yet unexpected.
Their solution? A show-stopping chandelier crafted using our glass bottle pendant lights. Suspended from dual wooden rings and thoughtfully layered at varying heights, the finished piece is both sculptural and atmospheric, while complimenting the charm of the space with modern craftsmanship. By clustering the bottles of vintage decanters and flask lights together, they achieved a dramatic centrepiece that nods to the venue’s moody, old-school bar culture, at the same time softening the industrial bones of the space.
We were thrilled to see how The Vig’s team took our bottle pendants and reimagined them with such creativity and precision. Rather than using the lights individually, they treated them as design elements - playing with symmetry, shadow, and the gleam of pressed glass to draw the eye upward and unify the space. By day, the installation complements the warmth of the timber beams and exposed brick. By night, it glows with a fairy-light buzz.
Through projects like this, heritage interiors and the timeless beauty of old-world charm are celebrated. It’s a reminder of how lighting, when done thoughtfully, becomes more than just functional, it becomes part of the story.
